Caitlin Powell is a ‘brilliant’ (Jen Brister) rising star on the circuit. They are a Funny Women Awards finalist and, in 2024, reached the finals of the Chortle Student Comedy Award, LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year and were shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards and the Pleasance Comedy Reserve. They have won The Comedy Store’s King Gong, and in 2025 will compete in the Beat the Frog World Series.

Their podcast, Queers Gone By, co-hosted with Drag Race UK's Kate Butch, has hit over 350k downloads, been described as ‘Utterly hilarious’ (The Guardian), ‘Laugh-out-loud’ (GQ) and ‘Idiotic’ (Men’s Health). The Guardian ranked it #4 in their article 50 Funny Podcasts to Make You Feel Much Better.

As a writer, they been shortlisted for the Funny Women Writing Award and the David Nobbs Memorial Trust New Comedy Writing Award alongside Eleanor Mason.
